USDA indicated though the corn crop is smaller than last year there are no significant problems to note. Nationwide yield was estimated at 152.2 bushels per acre which was higher than their July estimate of 149.0 bushels per acre. The resulting crop of 10.976 billion bushels would the third largest ever. Losses have been noted .....
