Corn Stocks Usage
As just a handful of private estimates for quarterly corn stocks are released, a longer term outlook may contain a hidden surprise. While the trade anticipates the USDA's June 30th "Planted Acreage" and "Quarterly Grain Stocks" results to mostly focus on acreage numbers, Allendale's research suggests producers and end users may want to give equal focus for the quarterly corn stocks report. Allendale Inc has released its quarterly corn stocks estimate of on and off farm of 4.321 billion bushels with one other private source approximately 100 million bushels fewer.

Corn Exports Sales Remain Strong Corn export sales for the week ending June 18 showed 27.0 million bushels of old crop corn along with 9.9 million of new crop corn. The trade was anticipating a combined export sales figure in the range of 23.6 to 39.4 million bushels.
