Along with today’s USDA Export Report, the monthly WASDE (Supply and Demand) Report was also released. As it pertains to the U.S. export situation, only soybean exports were adjusted in the April report. Old crop soybean exports were increased by 25 million bushels and are now projected to reach 1.21 billion bushels for the 2008/09 marketing year. For the week combined soybean export sales were 22.9 million bushels with 15.9 million bushels of old crop and an additional 7.0 million bushels of new crop soybeans.
