Wheat Warrants Watching
Weather conditions and forecasts are less than optimistic for the Southern Plains. Two week forecasted temps suggest swings of more than 25 degrees. That may promote heaving. The present drought monitor suggests greater than normal rains will be required. Principle key winter wheat producing states of Kansas, Oklahoma, Washington and Texas have a degree of abnormally dry to severe drought.

Corn Export Sales Fight Back
Corn export sales for the week ending February 26 were 31.2 million bushels, up 76 percent form the previous week. This weeks sales are over the 23.7 million bushels needed for the week to meet USDA projections of 1.75 billion bushels. Export sales for the week were over the highest pre-report estimate of 29.5 million bushels, which is supportive. Shipments for the week were decent at 35.8 million bushels,
