Gerald Melvin joined Allendale in July 2007 and manages the North Dakota Branch. He has been an active Commodity Trading Associate since 1996. Gerald and his wife Hattie own and operate a third generation farm in eastern ND where he has focused on hedging and risk management for over 35 years. Gerald emphasizes the use of options and enjoys assisting other producers with their marketing plans. He also appreciates being able to share in this family venture with his two sons.
